Participants will have hands-on practice with pointers and techniques for making a flaky pastry for cooked double crust pies. Erin will also demonstrate techniques to make fancy decorative tarts with cut-outs, special edges and lattice work. She’ll also show how to blind bake a pie shell for delicious desserts like custard, cream or curd pies. We do have some animals that were born at our facility or other facilities in Canada but 100% of the animals we receive calls about that are eligible to be released are released 100% of the time. Other animals in our care that are appropriate for programs such as these are utilized for fun, thought provoking, educational programs promoting responsible pet ownership and conservation.
