The Porcupine Art Club has been active, in Timmins, since 1947.  We are a group of artists, both experienced and novice, who share a love of creating art.

The club’s aims have always been to:

• To foster interest in and appreciation of art,
• To promote the professional development of members,
• To promote professional relationships with art centers and art groups,
• To further art education in the community.

The PAC has an annual exhibition at the Timmins Museum & National Exhibition Center and at La Galeruche in La Ronde Centre.  We exhibit year round at the Timmins Public Library and participate in the Northern Ontario Artist Association annual juried exhibition.  We are involved with the summer "Art in the Park" and Christmas Fine Art & Craft Sale sponsored by the Timmins Museum.  The clubhouse is open to the public during the summer months on Sunday afternoons, from 12 - 4 pm. at our "Open Studio".  We are located at the Roy Nicholson Park clubhouse on the corner of Pine St.N. and Eighth Ave. in Timmins.
