TIMMINS SUMMER CONCERT SERIES 2019

Summer Concert Series 2019

 

 

 

 

The 10th annual Summer Concert Series gets underway June 26th and features talent every Wednesday to Aug 28th from the Schumacher Lion’s Club McIntyre Park Goldcorp Pavilion.

Also the 5th annual Bannerman Park Summer Concert Series gets underway July 11th and will feature performances again on July 25th, August 8th and 22nd. The Porcupine Art Club will also be on hand for a “paint to the music” experience. Except for the Beats & Eats productions, Summer Concert Series starts at 6 pm and ends at 9 pm.

Beats & Eats
On July 10 and August 14 from the Schumacher Lion’s Club McIntyre Park and again on August 8 from Porcupine’s Bannerman Park, the live concert gets underway at 3 pm to 9 pm.  All three dates will feature a number of food vendors that will bring a local culinary experience.

New This Year

During the 14 week, live music production of Summer Concert Series, Rebel Soul Tribe will be on hand to lead exciting Zumba, Pound, Flow and Line Dance sessions during band changeovers. 

Summer Concert Series is free to attend thanks to a number of generous corporate entities. A voluntary cash or non-perishable item supporting the Timmins and South Porcupine Food Banks is welcome!

The concerts are scheduled to take place from 6 pm to 9 pm We recommend spectators bring their own folding chairs and dress appropriately for the weather. This hugely  popular event attracts thousands of people each year with a wide variety of musical talent, from blues, rock and country to jazz, swing, symphony and French pop.

The Summer Concert Series is a production of Tourism Timmins and DJ Taz and proudly sponsored by several corporate entities. James Toyota will be coordinating
