Timmins also offers 45 holes of golf for people ranging from the first time golfer to the established player…Master’s Champion mike Weir once held the low score at one of our local courses. Nestled next to the Mattagami River, Spruce Needles Golf Course offers a great golfing experience amongst the trees, waterways and fresh air that Timmins is famous for. Hollinger Golf Course, the city’s other 18-hole layout is set amongst the rocks and outcrops that are also a signature of our mining heritage. The city’s newest golf course is the Sandy Falls Golf Course on the outskirts of town. This 9-hole layout features a number of challenging holes including a very short Par 3 that is harder than you might think.
