The newest addition to the local golfing landscape is Sandy Falls Golf Course that offer nine challenging holes for local golfers and visitors alike.

Timmins is also a haven for campers and outdoor adventurers of all types.  There are over 400 lakes within our city boundaries and enough campgrounds and trails to meet the requirements of recreational adventurers and competitive athletes alike.

During the winter season in Timmins, there are many scenic trails at the Porcupine Ski Runners for the cross country skiers and snowshoers.  For those who enjoy the hills, there is the Kamiskotia Snow Resort where the family can enjoy a day of downhill skiing, snowboarding and tubing. And of course there are snowmobile trails all over the City and surrounding areas for everyone to enjoy.
